Employee healthcare navigation startup Transcarent is launching a new GenAI-enabled platform that will connect members with clinical guidance, benefits navigation, and virtual or in-person care delivery.
The new platform, called WayFinding, will pull in information about the employee’s plan, any ancillary benefits, and the patient’s medical history. Users can query the platform for information about their benefits and schedule appointments directly through the app.
The service targets self-funded employers and charges $5 per employee per month—potentially a lower-cost alternative to human-based navigation services that typically charge between $10 and $15 PMPM.
Transcarent is currently offering demos for potential customers, and the company currently has a working pilot with a health system. The app will be fully functional in the coming months, according to the company.
