Nancy Howell Agee and Rod Hochman announced their retirements from Carilion Clinic and Providence Health, respectively. Steve Arner will assume the role of President and CEO at Carilion Clinic on October 1. Eric Wexler will assume the role of President and CEO at Providence on January 1, 2025.  

Advocate Health has named J. Nwando Olayiwola, MD, as president of the Advocate National Center for Health Equity. In her previous role, Dr. Olayiwola served as Humana’s first chief health equity officer.  

Universal Health Services has appointed Maria Zangardi as senior vice president, human resources and corporate officer. In her new role, she will lead operations and human resource strategy for UHS. 

Vanderbilt University Medical Center named Lakmini Kidder as senior vice president of finance and chief revenue officer. In her previous role, she served as vice president of enterprise revenue cycle management at Johns Hopkins Health System. 

VCU Health has named Alok Chaudhary as its new vice president, chief data and artificial intelligence officer. Mr. Chaudhary will oversee the health system's data-steering committee and advancements of data, analytics, AI and emerging technology.
